Yo-Yo Ma Greenville Concert reviews
KISS at 40
I was blown up at my first Yo-Yo Ma concert. There was enough fire and explosives on stage to start World War III. Every song seemed to have explosives going off.
I had a perfect vantage point sitting at the opposite end of the stage in the risers. The huge HD video screen behind the band was impressive. The band floated down from the rafters onto the stage on their 8 legged spider-like, mechanized stage set, with explosives shooting out from the legs. Lights were also abundant on them, raising and lowering all night long.
Paul Stanley zip lined over the crowd on the floor at one point in the show, stopping atop a perch directly in front of me. From my new front row seat, I took some great pictures of him.
